Our Philosophy

Till recently, the focus of most businesses has been the urban consumers. It is against this background that RDM was born out of the need to reach out to the peri-urban and rural markets. This was informed by the tempo of development accelerating in peri –urban and rural markets in Africa in general and this is coupled with increase in purchasing power, changing life styles and consumption pattern of villagers. This can be attributed to an increase in education, social mobility, improved means of transportation and communication and other penetrations of mass media that have exposed rural audiences in Africa to outside world hence their outlook to life has also changed. In brief, our philosophy is to reach out to the rural customer, understand their needs and wants, supply of goods and services to meet their requirements, carrying out after sales services that leads to customer satisfaction and repeat purchase/sales.
